Steve McGarrigle is a video content producer with a strong focus on post-production and design. He has over 17 years professional experience in designing, editing and delivering content for broadcast television, cinema, and the web. He has created the brand identities for a number of broadcast television channels, television shows, and cross-platform interactive products as well as working with and developing existing visual design for established brands. His work includes designing and producing channel idents, continuity graphics, promos, commercials, trailers and title sequences. He has also edited thousands of hours of long and short form film, broadcast and corporate video content.


Steve started making 8mm films as a teenager and went on to study experimental film and video art in the mid-eighties on the Time-Based Media BA (Hons) degree course at Maidstone College of Art headed by pioneering video artist David Hall. He then went on to spend the best part of the late eighties and nineties writing, producing and remixing, electronic dance music and was also involved in running a recording studio and independent record label on the south coast.


He moved back into video production around the year 2000 as digital production and desktop based post-production tools were beginning to become more mainstream and affordable.

Since then he has worked as a camera operator, video editor, motion graphic designer and producer clocking up over 17 years of professional experience in production, post-production, and design, working with clients including One2Watch, Rapture TV, GigsonAir Live, Spicer & Moore, J13 Broadcast, Redshift Media and Cellcast UK.


His skillset includes Adobe: Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Media Encoder. Apple: Final Cut Pro, Motion and Compressor, Serif's Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo. Avid Media Composer and Blackmagic Design: Davinci Resolve.
